We are a collaborative outpatient psychiatric clinic providing comprehensive mental health care to patients across the lifespan—both children and adults. Our integrated, multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, psychiatric physician assistants, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, a case manager, and a registered dietitian. We deliver care through both in-person visits and telehealth.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Physician Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hybrid position with a mix of in-person clinic days and telehealth days. The ideal candidate is comfortable evaluating and managing patients of all ages, works well within a multidisciplinary team, and thrives in an environment that balances collaboration with independent decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for pediatric and adult patients
- Provide ongoing medication management and monitoring, including assessment of efficacy, side effects, and treatment adherence
- Manage relevant medical aspects of psychiatric care, including monitoring for metabolic and other treatment-related effects
- Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families
- Coordinate care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, the case manager, and the dietitian to support integrated, whole-person care
- Deliver care in both in-person and telehealth settings, maintaining thorough and timely documentation
- Participate in team case discussions and contribute to a collaborative clinical culture
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current NCCPA certification (PA-C)
- Active or eligible state licensure (Alaska licensure required; ability to obtain licensure supported)
- Experience in psychiatry or behavioral health preferred; new graduates with a strong interest in psychiatry are encouraged to apply
- Comfort and experience working with both pediatric and adult populations preferred
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
